Intermediate FSC/FA Program
Education is a powerful catalyzing agent which provides intellectual, physical, ideological and moral training to individuals, so as to enable them to have full consciousness of their mission, of their purpose in life and equip them to achieve that purpose. It is an instrument for the spiritual development as well as the material fulfillment of human beings [FBISEAims and Objectives of Education Policy].
The FSc. Pre-Engineering program aims to provide students a multifaceted exposure and education to basic scientific enquiry field. After successfully completing the program students can further pursue their career in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Telecom Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental , Space Engineering and Meteorological Engineering.
The FSc. Pre-Medical program provides a general exposure to the basis of scientific Inquiry in the field of animated sciences. The degree is an entry point to the fields of sciences, ranging from venerable and time honored fields of Medicine, Physiotherapy Surgery, Pharmacy, Agriculture, to the new and buoyant horizons of Microbiology Molecular Genetics, Cloning, Food Technology, Biochemistry, Environmental, Biology, DVM, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Bacteriology, Embryology and Petrifaction.
The basic scientific skills of the students are polished in a conducive and congenial atmosphere, under the guidance of fully qualified, ardent and devoted faculty, through detailed lectures, question - answer sessions and practical in well-equipped labs.
All the students who qualified their Matriculation, 0-Level or equivalent examination from any recognized board can take admission in Intermediate (Pre-Engineering or PreMedical) programs.
DURATION: The duration of the program is two years. The BISE Abbottabad will conduct terminal examinations on completion of 1st Year and 2nd Year's sessions.
RECOGNITION: This program is accredited by the BISE Abbottabad. It is fully recognized within Pakistan and internationally for further education and employment in the private and public sectors.
INTAKES: There is one intake each year after the Secondary School Certificate Examination. Entry test date is usually announced in news paper and displayed on college notice board.
CLASS TIMING: Classes are held from Monday to Friday (5 days a week) between 08:00 a.m. to 02:05 p.m. Makeup classes are held on need basis. These classes are mandatory for students to attend. Refresher classes are held near to examinations.
ATTENDANCE: To remain as an active student of IIUI College, 90% class attendance is compulsory at any time during the session.
ASSESSMENT: Students are prepared for the final external board examination via monthly, bi-monthly tests and internal examinations.

ELIGIBILITY: Only those candidates who obtain 65% marks or more in the Board Matriculation Examination (or equivalent) are eligible to appear in the written examination. If Board Results are not declared by that time then Result Card of Class 9, must be attached.
WRITTEN EXAMINATION: Written examination comprises following three papers (four subjects) based on Matriculation syllabus:
1) English 2) Mathematics or Biology 3) Chemistry & Physics (combined paper)
INTERVIEW: Those who qualify the Written Examination are interviewed after the announcement of results.

- Photocopy of father NIC
- Photo copy of student's "Form B"
- Three recent passport size photographs
- Student passed SSC from any other board must deposit original migration certificate in admin office within given time after the admission.
