Professor Dr. Masoom Yasin Zia
It is a day for celebration for International Islamic University Islamabad as
history has been made on the occasion of completion of ten years of International
Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) Schools.
One of the important goals of International
Islamic University Islamabad is to study and interpret the teachings of Islam in
the context of the intellectual and scientific progress of the modern world and
the creation of IIUI Schools has given us an opportunity to pay tribute to the wealth
of knowledge that comes with this vision thereby helping to translate it in action.
IIUI was established to further the frontiers of knowledge through learning, education
and research. Since our foundation we have produced professionals who enrich society.
At the basic early childhood, primary and secondary levels IIUI Schools has clearly
assisted in creating high achievers with an advanced level of independent thinking,
impeccable character and remarkable confidence in line with the teachings and norms
taught by Islam. Till now, this initiative is one of a kind ever executed by a University
and I would like to express my faith that you, as ambassadors for IIUI Schools,
will go on to shape, manage and nurture students entrusted to you and make your
schools high quality institutions.
My prime concern, as Rector, is to ensure that
IIUI maintains its high standards and academic status and that we continue to attract
the best students and staff from around the Islamic World. To complement this requirement,
the IIUI Schools have created 21st Century Classrooms and students are now equipped
with skills for the future to make them successful, well adapted and powerful individuals
who will in future be an asset to the University as well as the Nation.
I congratulate
all and especially the Team of Institute of Professional Development, IIUI, for
their consistent efforts and wishes for Campus Management for further success in
the running of IIUI Schools
